NATASHA PRINCE Staff Reporter A CITY property owner has gone to court in an effort to evict three families who have moved into a warehouse in Philippi he bought several years ago on land he hoped to develop. Last week the owner authorised a construction team to tear the roof off the warehouse in Lower Ottery Road. But tenants on the land approached the Department of Rural Development and Land Affairs to intervene. The department secured a court order to stop the eviction and to have the owner replace the roof.
